B.Smart Automation

Automation is one of the important keys to the development of smart manufacturing. Industrial robots, smart machine tools, self-developed HMI human-machine interfaces, automatic workpiece measurement, statistical analysis and a central control system are combined to form an automated production line. To achieve quality production and one-piece continuous production, man-machine collaboration is essential.

C.Smart Machines

YCM independently develops smart spindles, monitored detection systems, and controlled communications which can monitor spindle vibration, detect machine collision, record and analyze processing and maintenance history, and perform other functions. Through self-developed i-Pros MX and i -Cube technology smart devices, continuous improvements are made in big data analysis, YCM is moving towards providing factories with zero downtime.

D.Smart Management

A self-developed MES, i-Direct, smart management system connects the software and hardware of all production line equipment, such as CNC controllers and machining centers, for remote monitoring and management. This retrieved information can indicate equipment utilization rates and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) data, allowing managers to monitor and manage the factory, grasp real-time production status, quickly locate and break through bottlenecks in the production process, and optimize production efficiency.

High-Performance 5-Axis Vertical Machining Centers

NFX400A, with a 6-slide blocks on the X-axis, and high-horsepower, IDD PLUS direct-drive spindle, gives increased speed and extreme machine stability. Various options of tool magazine capacities are available to achieve fast and reliable tool change efficiency, allowing the NFX400A to meet the varying processing needs often encountered in the aerospace, automotive, medical and other industries, where complex and precision parts are often produced. Its 5-axis rotary table, which adopts a trunnion-type support, can process workpieces with a maximum size of ø400 x 310 mm and a load of 200 kg.

Multi-Axis Intelligent Flexible Manufacturing: The Exclusive UV650-FlexCell Debuts

To help our customers improve their market competitiveness, YCM launched the UV650-FlexCell multi-axis, smart, flexible, manufacturing unit. Combining modular, standardized and flexible automation systems, with smart machines and smart management, UV650-FlexCell realizes Multi-axis Intelligent Manufacturing.

The structure adopts a flexible, automatic, material rack design, and its central control parameter settings can achieve easy and fast line changes.

The machine is equipped with a robotic arm and a warehouse system to automatically load and unload materials, reducing floor space, and maximizing production efficiency. Its intelligence modular design, along with practical storage and peripheral functions, can be expanded to meet the needs of diverse machining processes.

The UV650 high-performance, 5-axis, vertical machining center, combines advanced technology with high-precision, simultaneous 5-axis processing. This not only shortens the installation and overall lead time, but also effectively improves the processing accuracy and quality. The UV650’s self-made IDD direct-drive spindle, and 17 kW high-power motor, with a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm, enables perfect surface smoothness when machining hard materials. In addition, the UV650 is equipped with a ø650mm B/C-type tilting, large-plate, rotating table, with a spacious processing area that can load up to 300 kg (0°~45°)/200 kg (45°~90°) workpieces. For workpieces with complex contour features, a reliable and diversified tool magazine selection is provided. The standard configuration is 40T, 48T, or 60T which can be selected for different processing requirements.

Our latest 5-axis machining center UH-500, which won the 2019 Taiwan Excellence Silver Award, can be used in multi-processing applications. It is designed to solve workpiece-change problems and meet diversified and delicate process requirements.

The 5-axis processing machine is well adapted for the Aerospace, Military, Healthcare and Automobile Industries.

The UH-500 is primarily suitable for fine processing, as the UH-500 can perform diversified manufacturing processes on a complex workpiece without the need to reposition the workpiece. As the UH-500 enhances processing efficiency for complex workpieces, it will shorten production time, reduce manufacturing costs, and increase your market competitiveness.

  • B axis swivel head uses a high-precision, worm-wheel module design which is self-locking and has high rigidity. The minimum angle is 0.001°and max. swiveling range is ±120°.
  • C axis rotary table has a high-precision, worm-wheel design. It is available with DD direct drive and high-speed options.
  • UH-500 has a movable tool magazine with linear guideways and a hydraulic cylinder design to avoid interference with the spindle when the B axis swings.
  • Z axis precision ball-screw with coolant design reduces thermal expansion error.

Built-in 21/25kw spindle motor, with multi-labyrinth design, effectively reduces the problem of cutting fluid, oil and air getting into the spindle.
