Innolux Corporation’s wastewater treatment facilities across seven plants are situated along the scenic southern coast of Taiwan. To optimize the aeration process in their wastewater treatment, Innolux selected Atlas Copco’s ZS VSD (Variable Speed Drive) rotary screw blowers to replace traditional Roots blowers. By adopting Atlas Copco’s blowers and service solutions, they achieved significant energy savings—reducing electricity consumption by over 35%, which translates to an annual savings of 3.5 million kWh and a carbon reduction of 175,000 metric tons for the environment.

Looking ahead, the project is estimated to deliver continuous annual energy savings of 12 million kWh while reducing carbon emissions by 610,800 metric tons.
