TAIWAN TAKISAWA, in collaboration with FANUC’s high-precision servo vibration control and its own iHMI interface, introduces the Vibration Cutting technology — a breakthrough solution that completely eliminates long chip entanglement.
Operators simply input spindle speed, feed rate, and vibration amplitude ratio to preview the cutting path in real time. The system automatically optimizes machining parameters, greatly reducing setup and trial time.
By applying high-frequency vibration to the feed axis, the tool periodically separates from the workpiece, precisely controlling the cutting depth, producing short chips, ensuring stable chip breaking, and achieving ±0.002 mm accuracy with fully unmanned operation.
An integrated synchronization algorithm automatically calculates the optimal frequency and amplitude, while the dedicated G-code command (e.g., G8.5) allows seamless integration into existing machining programs.
